Buhari appoints former Lagos deputy governor as special assistant
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed former Lagos Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, as his Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals.
Her appointment was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Monday March 7, 2016.
Orelope-Adefulire served as Deputy-Governor of Lagos State under the administration of Babatunde Fashola.
Prior to that, she was the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos State.
