Breaking: Ramadan Starts Tomorrow, Taraweek Begins Tonight
Saudi declares Monday first day of Ramadan
The Religious Authorities in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bosnia, Emirates, Malaysia, Turkey & other Islamic Countries have announced that tomorrow Monday, 6th June 2016 is the 1st day of Ramadan 1437 AH.
Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court made the announcement after confirming the moon (crescent) Al Arabiya News Channel reported.
Consequently, tonight will be the first Taraweeh.
Saudi Arabia observed its Magrib few minutes after 5 pm today as shown by Islam Channel. Though, Nigerians await confirmation from the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
More than 1.5 billion Muslims around the world will mark the month, during which believers abstain from eating, and pleasures.
