Dino Melaye’s Outfit Steals Spotlight At ADC Convention
Former senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has drawn widespread attention on social media following his appearance at the 2025 African Democratic Congress (ADC) convention.
The event, held on Tuesday at the Rainbow Event Center in Abuja, saw Melaye arrive in a striking outfit comprising a black long-sleeved button-down shirt, a black face cap, wide-legged beige trousers, and a flowing cape attached at the back.
His fashion choice quickly became a subject of debate online, with mixed reactions from observers.
While some praised his bold and confident style, others criticised the unconventional outfit, questioning its suitability for a formal political gathering.
A number of social media users suggested he consider changing his stylist, expressing dissatisfaction with his overall appearance.
“Whoever is styling Dino Melaye isn’t doing a great job. Man needs a new stylist,” an X user wrote.
However, supporters defended the ensemble, arguing that the outfit — particularly the trousers — added a unique and stylish edge, reinforcing Melaye’s flair for individuality.
