Prophet Arraigned Over Alleged Threat To Life

She stated that after purchasing the tiles, the defendants made a fraudulent transfer of funds to the company’s account. The prosecution counsel stated that police investigations confirmed that the accused had committed the offense. She said the offence violated Sections 97 and 95 of the Penal Code. The Judge, Chukwuemeka Nweke, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N1 million each, with one surety in the same amount. He adjourned the case for a hearing on July 2.

‎A 38-yeear-old man, Prophet Iseoluwa
‎Oladoye has been arraigned before an Osun State Magistrates court over alleged threat to life.

‎Police Prosecutor, Inspector Lamidi Rasaq, told the court that the suspect alongside one other who is now at large conspired and threat to kill Tunde Onilewura and Onilewura Habeeb Kola.

‎The offence according to the prosecution is contrary to and punishable under sections 516 and 355 of the criminal code cap of 34 vol.11 laws of Osun State of Nigeria.

‎But,the suspect pleaded not guilty to the allegations against him.

‎Defence Counsel,A.A Adepoju in an oral application urged the court to admit the suspect to bail in most liberal terms.

‎In his ruling, the Chief Magistrate, Dr.Segun Ayilara granted the accused bail in the sum of N500,000 with one surety in the same sum.

‎He thereafter, adjourned the case to February 24, 2026.
