Police Arrest 3 Gun Runners With 1,346 Ammunition, N16m Cash In Oyo
Oyo Police Command on Friday paraded three gun runners in Ibadan with 1,346 AK-47 live ammunition and N16m cash after they were arrested during a stop and search operation.
The suspects are: AbdulAzeez Ayatulahi and AbfulAzeez, Ridwan and Olugbenga Asake Ayatulahi and Ridwan who were found in the car were conveying the exhibits from Saki to be delivered to Asake from whom the N16m was allegedly found to be money meant to be paid for the ammunition.
Ayatulahi, a Bachelor of Science degree holder in Mechanical Engineering from a Ghana University, who drove the Toyota Corolla car, said he did not know the content of what was given to him by a driver to deliver to another person in Ibadan
