Deprived Nigerians Can Seek Justice at no Cost-Commissioner
The Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in Osun, Prof. Razaq Abubakre on Monday said deprived Nigerians can get justice, when cheated, at no cost when they report to the PCC.
Abubakre made this known while speaking to the newsmen in Osogbo, on the roles the Commission play in conflict resolutions and demand for justice for the oppressed.
According to him “it is the core mandated of the PCC to demand the right of the deprived person back to him/her, as we are for social justice.
“All what a deprived person have to do is to reach us, make his/her case known to us and we will examine the matter and invite the respondent to listen to both parties and do what is judicious.” he said
He said the Commission provide justice in matters and complaints of administrative injustice, cheating and other forms of civil injustice at no cost to the parties involved.
“In a situation where a civil servant feels he/she is being deprived of his/her due promotion or a situation where unexplainable deductions are made from an individual bank account, we investigate and make sure the complainant get justice.
He said despite the fact that the Commission does not generate income or revenue; they carry out their function with integrity and do not charge or collect commission or money from complainants or from monies recovered on their behalf.
Abubakre therefore urges the public to make use of the free services offer by the commission to seek justice, in matters where they feel cheated or deprived of their rights.
He said people can reach the commission through their various offices scattered across the state and country or alternatively through emails and their social media channels, including their website, www.pccosun.org
