Pandemonium as Hausa, Yoruba Clash in Ife Ahead of Tinubu’s Visit
Pandemonium broke out at the early hour of Wednesday in Ile-Ife, Osun State as Yorubas and Hausa in the ancient town engaged in bloody free for all.
This is coming as the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is said to be coming to the city today.
Sources said violence started late last night at Lagere and Sabo with some shops burnt.
The cause of the clash was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
Angry mob of Yorubas were said to have embarked on reprisal attack on the Hausas this morning, destroying their goods and shops.
