Tinubu Dismisses Death Rumours, Says He’s Strong And Healthy
The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has dismissed the rumour that he is dead, stating that he’s strong, healthy and ready to serve Nigerians.
Tinubu also debunked claims that he had withdrawn from the 2023 presidential race.
He stated this on Sunday in a tweet accompanied by a video showing him working out on a fitness bike.
The former Lagos State governor wrote, “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope.
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
Recall that the APC presidential candidate’s whereabouts has raised concern after he sent his running mate, Kashim Shettima, to represent him at the peace accord signed by other presidential candidates in Abuja.
An APC presidential campaign council member, Ayo Oyalowo, stated Tinubu had gone to London to rest.
However, it is unclear whether the video, Tinubu shared on Twitter was taken in London.
