Osun PDP Primary: Appeal Panel Recommends Rerun In Iwo Federal Constituency
Following the primary election into Legislative houses of the the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Osun State, Seven (7) aspirants appealed the outcome of the election results before the PDP Appeal Committee Panel established by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party to look into the petitions of the aspirants.
According to the stamped and well received copies of the Appeal Panel recommendation about the petition that was dated 30th day of May 2022, six of the petitions lack merit of various degree, therefore could not be entertained, except that of Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency where the petitioner was able to substantiate with sufficient proof of fraudulent and illegally disenfranchisement of 4 delegates from his strong hold, and they were replaced by strange people during the voting exercise.
PDP National Working Committees through Directorate of Organization and Mobilization had received the report on the 30th of May 2022, while aspirants and all the members of the party are waiting for the approval of the NWC.
