Prof. Babarinde, who teaches at the Department of Early Childhood and Education Foundation, also at the University of Ibadan, spoke through his counsel, Mr Yusuf Anikulapo, that he was yet to be served with the application for commiter, adding that he had earlier filed an application challenging the court jurisdiction.
Anikulapo said that the court ought to hear the application on jurisdiction before taking other applicant once it was raised.
He further said that it was not that his client was not willing to pay the children’s school fees, adding that his client paid the children’s school fees during the first term.
Anikulapo said that his client have been cooperating.
The President of the court, R. Gbadamosi, said that the court would take both application for jurisdiction and commiter together in order to save time.
