Osun Youths Will Benefit More From FG Youth Empowerment Programs—Minister Of Youths
The Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare has commended governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State for giving priority to youth development.
The minister who expressed contentment with the leadership style of the governor said, he was pleased with the way and manner the Oyetola led administration has been handling the issue that has to do with the Youths.
Dare made these known while play host to the Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega on Youths and Sports, Hon Adegboyega Adelabu Aremo, in his office, in Abuja.
The minister who appreciated the SA for deeming it fit to visit him promised that Osun Youths would benefit more from federal government youth program.
“I’m very happy to see you today. We are very impressed with the youth development programmes being done by the state under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
“Governor Gboyega Oyetola through the ministry of youths and sports has done tremendously well. He has demonstrated commitment to the issue that to do with development of youths in the state.
“I want to assure you that Osun youths would benefit more from federal government youth program”, the minister said.
Speaking, Aremo appreciated the minister for acknowledging the fact that the state has not deviated from its responsibility in ensuring that the youths of the state are well catered for.
Aremo commended the federal government through the ministry on Youths and Sports for its various youths empowerment programs which he said had brought millions of Nigerian youths out of poverty.
The Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (N-YIF), which was approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) late July, can easily pass as one of the biggest gains of Dare in the office so far
N-YIF is dedicated to investing in the innovative ideas, skills, talents, and enterprises of youth.
N-YIF has a target to reach 500,000 youth between 2020 and 2023.
