Ondo State Gets New NSCDC Commandant

The Commandant General of
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has appointed a new Commandant for Ondo state, Hammed Abodunrin, to combat crime and criminality in the Southwest state.

While addressing the officers and men of the command, Abodunrin said the command under his watch would keenly carry out the plans and programmes spelt out by the Commandant General.

According to him, this would be done by enhancing the capacity building and human resource development of personnel through continuous training and re-training and improve on staff welfare.

Abodunrin, who also reiterated his commitment towards working with the State Government as well as collaborating with other sister agencies and all critical stakeholders to make Ondo state a safer haven for the dwellers, however, affirmed that a new sheriff is in town hence all criminal minded persons should either relocate or face the full wrath of the law.

Meanwhile, the out-gone Commandant, Eweka Edenabu Douglas, has been deployed to Lagos State Command.
