NAWOJ B Zone Commiserates With Osun NUJ, NAWOJ Over Folakemi Alonge’s Death
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, B Zone commiserate with the Osun State Council of Nigerian Union of Journalists and Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Osun State Council, on the demise of one of its members, Mrs Folakemi Alonge.
A statement signed by the Zonal Vice President Ayaba Omobola Akingbehin and the Zonal Secretary, Funmi Adekoya, described Alonge as a committed and supportive member who would always do everything within her powers to support the Union.
“Folakemi Alonge was always available to serve NUJ and NAWOJ in any capacity.
“She was humble, trustworthy and committed. Her sudden death is indeed a sad loss to the media community in Osun.”
The NAWOJ B Zone, registers its sincere condolences to her immediate family, the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC and the Osun State Chapter of the NUJ and NAWOJ.
“We pray that God console all her family, friends and colleagues and put an end to untimely death among members of Osun NUJ and NAWOJ.
