Osun Council Parliamentarian ,Bepo Gives Constituents Gifts
A local Government Parliamentarian in Osun State, Hon (Mrs) Adejumoke Bepo , has distributed some gift items to her constituents as part of effort to bring dividend of democracy to her people.
Bepo who is the deputy leader of Atakumosa West Central LCDA, Ifewara distributed pressing iron, clippers, handsets, gas cylinder, pepper grander, standing fan and spraying machine.
Other items distributed by the council parliamentarian are, bags of foods, electric kettles, women clothes , big generator among others.
The items were distributed amongst residents including the vulnerable, youths, widows and political groups, commercial drivers across Ijesa South federal Constituency consists of two council areas , Atakumosa West and its LCDA.
Bepo said the donations would go a long way in providing needed relief to her people especially during this economic downturned occasioned with coronavirus pandemic.
She said: “One big generator machine would be donated to one of the communities to enable them power their boleholl. Thirty (30) widows from Ifelodun ward 5 i.e five(5) from each of the units will go home today with palliative bags. This bag contains six(6) yards of Ankara and other consumable items.
“Each of the eleven(11) counsellors in the old Atakunmosa west are given the privilege of nominating two widows from their wards for the palliative packs.
“Two handsets will be shared out to the secretary and P.R.O of Okada Riders in ward 5, while their Chairman will get a standing fan. In Ifelodun ward 5, we have six(6) political units, each of these units will be given four(4) different items today. These are: One gas cylinder, One pepper grander, One standing fan and and One spraying machine.
While admonishing recipients to ensure judicious use of the materials, Bepo said she would continue to serve the people of the council areas through execution of people-oriented programmes that would have a direct bearing on their lives.
Recipients of the relief materials which includes Some religious, community leaders expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for the kind gesture and prayed to God for abundant blessings on their benefactor.
