Delta Youths Commends Okowa on Regional Security Outfit

Youths under the aegis of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Youth Wing, Delta state chapter has commended governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other South South governors on their decision to establish a South South security outfit.

The commendation is coming on the wake of the decision of the South South governor’s forum to establish a South South security Outfit at a meeting held on Thursday, 5th March 2020 in Asaba, the Delta state capital.

The Chairman of the group, Pastor Evwro Jeffrey Ogheneovo described the decision as timely, and lasting solution to the menace of insecurity ravaging the region.

He urged all institutions and persons that would be saddled with the responsibility of setting up the regional security Outfit to be dutiful, diligent, objective and exemplary.

“All institutions, agencies and persons on whom this all important responsibility will be saddled to do so with all objectivity it requires for the prioritization of life and property. Safety is second to none in the South South region in time like this.” He concluded.
