Ooni Hosts Mines & Steel Development Minister, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite

The Arole Oodua Olofin’Adimula and Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II on Wednesday received the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite, at his Ile Oodua Palace, Ile Ife.

During the visit which the Minister described as a mark of honour for the highly respected Ooni, the frontline traditional ruler described Arc. Adegbite as a true son of Oduduwa who determined to prompt service delivery in the interest of the Nigerian people.

“The Minister is my son from Ogun state and I am proud of the good news that I have been receiving daily about him. I pray that the Almighty Olodumare continues to bless him and his team in the Ministry.” The Ooni noted.

Earlier in address, Arc. Adegbite described the Ooni as an epitome of peace and unity across the Yoruba race, thanking him for adding to the sense of pride of the Yoruba people across the world.

“My father Ooni Ogunwusi has since his enthronement established himself as a unifying force not only in Yorubaland but also across Nigeria and Africa even when some people criticised his several consultations for peace, Baba kept on going stronger and I am happy to say that his sacrifices are now paying off.” The Minister said.

The event was attended by traditional rulers including the Olowa of Igbara Oke, Oba Francis Agbede, Ajero of Ijero-Ekiti and top officials of Ministry including Mine officials.
