Osun AGF Congratulates Alli Balogun On His New Appointment

An influential group in the All Progressives Congress,Osun State chapter, Asiwaju Grassroot Foundation (AGF) has congratulated Comrade Ibrahim Alli Balogun, on his appointment as Special Adviser to the Speaker, Federal House Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, on youth matters.

AGF in a congratulatory message issued by the state Coordinator, Comrade Tijani Sikiru, and made available to newsmen, on Tuesday, in Osogbo, described the appointment as “well deserved and putting a round peg in a round hole.”

Praising Balogun, the group expressed confidence that the National Secretary of AGF would bring to bear his rich experience in public and party affairs in the discharge of his responsibilities.

According to AGF, the news of Balogun’s appointment as SA to the speaker did not come as a surprise to the group, saying that his sound records in group and party activities made him an asset.

AGF further affirmed that Balogun’s loyalty to the party amongst other noble qualities, must have informed the decision of the Speaker on his appointment.

The group however appreciated the speaker for counting the member of AGF worthy and appointed Balogun as his SA, promising that the group would continue to support the speaker in his bid to take the country to the greater height.

“we wish to further join your family, members, friends and associates in prayers to Almighty God to guide you in the discharge of your new responsibilities,’’ the statement added.
