2019: My Victory In 2015 Was Not Declared Like That Of Abiola, Fadahunsi Says …Promises Responsible Representation

Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for the Osun East Senatorial district, Prince Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi on Monday promised people of his constituency adequate and responsible representation, if voted.

Fadahunsi, who expressed optimism that he would beat his opponent from the senatorial district hand down said he won in 2015 but he was robbed and his victory was not declared like that of Late MKO Abiola.

He made this known while addressing members of the Correspondents’ chapel, in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday, as part of activities to mark the official commencement of his 2019 Senatorial ambition.

The former Assistance Comptroller General , Nigeria Custom Service said the decision to run for the senatorial seat at the upper chamber in 2019 after he was being allegedly robbed in the last general election was borne out of his determination to liberate the people of his constituency.

According to him, “today is a great day as I stand before you to address certain issues as regards my vision to take a bold step for the libration and emancipation of Osun East Senatorial District. It has been said that evil continues to pervade our land except people of voice and goodwill decide to take a bold step in order to apart.”

“Am sure you are aware that this is not my first attempt at giving an effective representation to my people. In 2015, you all know my loving people voted end masse for me to be their voice at the national assembly but the agents of deprive the people of the right dividends of representation and also hunting the evil doers till date in the political arena of our state”

Promising people of his constituency of quality representation, Fadahunsi
stated that he was fully prepared to use the instrument of legislation to better the lots of the people of the district.

Fadahunsi lamented what he called the unfortunate poor representation that has been the lots of the Osun East senatorial district in about four years now.

This was just as he promised responsible representation of the people of the senatorial district when elected.

“I promise my people that responsible representation that will guarantee abundance of life and prosperity. I will encourage human development, I will encourage agriculture and creation of employment opportunities for the youths of my district, scholarships would be given to the students.

“I would probably continue my service to humanity privately if not for the fact that the same lacuna I have always seen which prompted my venturing into politics to serve as not been filled despite the years of representation that those who hijacked the mandate nof the people have spent serving themselves and the not the people they claim to be serving.”

To this end, I present myself to you formally as a servant of the people aspiring to serve the good people of Osun east senatorial district at the national assembly.
