Gov Akeredolu Walks Out Angrily On Union Leaders Over Paris Club Refund
—He Has Hidden Agenda On The Paris Club Money, Labour Leaders Say

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Friday walked out in annoyance at a crucial meeting with labour leaders in the state.
The meeting according to CityMirrorNews Correspondent was called to deliberate on how effectively to earnest the N20.9billion Paris club debt refund for salary and pension arrears.
It was gathered that trouble started when Mr Akeredolu kept the labour leaders waited for about five hours at the venue, cocoa conference, governor’s office, Alagbaka Akure and on arriving the meeting the governor was said to express dissatisfaction with the blockage of his office entrance on Tuesday.
It was authoritatively gathered that the governor at the meeting also showed his anger to the union leaders for protesting on Tuesday, over the non-payment of their salaries and pensions.
Akeredolu had left the state for Ekiti on Tuesday to attend the inauguration ceremony of Dr Kayode Fayemi, when his workers were agitating for their salary and other emoluments
It would be recalled that the state workers and aging pensioners on Tuesday staged a peaceful protest for several hours at the entrance of the governor’s office to kick against alleged plot by the state government to divert the Paris club debt refund released by President muhammadu Buhari to settle accumulated arrears of salaries and pension.
Addressing journalists after the aborted meeting, the NLC chairman, Comrade Tayo Ogunleye, TUC chairman, Comrade Soladoye Ekundayo and JNC chairman Comrade Abel Oloniyo said the action of Governor Akeredolu to walked out on labour leaders had shown that he had an inordinate intension to divert the Paris club refund for personal or political use.
The labour leaders said they were still meeting before declaring industrial dispute against the ondo state government over its decision on Paris club refund and failure to continue payment of 2017 leave bonus.
