CAN Secretary General, Musa Asake Is Dead

The Secretary General of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Dr. Musa Asake is dead.

Details of his death are still sketchy as at the time of filing his report but citymirrornews learnt that he died Friday morning in Abuja after an illness.
Asake was one of the Christian leaders who organised nationwide protest called by CAN against the killing of Christians by suspected Fulani herdsmen about two weeks ago.
The Secretary General’s death was confirmed by his brother and former member of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Asake, in an interview with the newsmen.
He said, “Yes, he died this morning. We are right now in the mortuary. I was with him yesterday (Thursday) in his house,”.
The deceased is an indigene of Southern Kaduna and has been vocal in the defence of Christianity in Nigeria.
