Ondo PDP Grassroots Mobilizers Condemns Attack On Senate

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Grassroot Mobilisers, Ondo state chapter has reacted to the snatching of Senate Mace during its plenary by the suspended Senator Ovie Omo-Agege led suspected thugs into the chamber, describing the attack as barbaric, undemocratic, unconstitutional and affront on the present democracy in the country.
In a press release issued and signed by the Coordinator and the Secretary of the group, Comrade Kunle Ajibogun and Femi Ogunleye respectively which was made available to CityMirrorNews in Akure said the action of Omo-Agege representing Delta West Senatorial District was a shameful to the APC led government where he belongs to.
The group urged the security agents to take a decisive action on the culprits in the interest of peace and progress of the country.
While the group noted that Nigerians should intotality condemned the action of the Senator and the party, that produced him as toiling and playing with the destiny of Nigerians with their actions over the years in governance.
PDP Grassroot Mobilisers, therefore called on its members in PDP to remain calm and calculated towards regaining power from the APC government who are just in power without direction or focus at making life comfortable for the people come 2019 general elections.
The group noted that all members of the party, should see the need at working together as a team, without defecting to other party by making it more formidable and reposition the party towards winning in the next election across the country.
