Youths Foil Attempted Arrest Of Prophet El-Buba By DSS
By Jide Afolabi, Jos
There was a mild drama at the headquarters of the Evangelical Bible Outreach Ministry International (EBOMI) on Monday, as youths prevented the arrest of Prophet Isa El-Buba, the General Overseer of the ministry by agents of the Department of State Services, DSS.
White Hilux vehicles alleged to belong to the secret service with some agents were sighted by CityMirrorNews reporter around the gigantic edifice located at Kashim Ibrahim street in part of the central business district area of Jos, Plateau state.
The Prophet alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered his arrest because of his sermons and his stand against the silence of the President in the ongoing killings across country.
El-Buba had in one of his sermons alleged that President Buhari was silence on Fulani herdsmen killings in the country especially, Benue killings where about 73 people were gruesomely murdered by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The Prophet alleged that his planned arrest by the operatives was politically motivated sighting his fierce criticism of the President.
There has not been any response from either the secret service or the Presidency as at the time of filing this report.
