PDP Group Denies Conceding Reps Seat To Ethiope West
A group under the auspices of Ethiope PDP Realistic Movement (EPRM), on Wednesday debunked a story making the round that the Ethiope Federal House of Representatives position presently occupied by Hon. Lovette Edirin Idisi has been conceded to Ethiope West.

In a statement by the group’s president, Comrade Martins Onodjaefia, and secretary, Mr. Omena Efeotor, said Ethiope East and West has been sister local government areas that have enjoined a robust relationship, saying that such relationship should not be destroyed by rumour mongers.
The statement read, “As we continue to ensure we sustain this robust relationship, it will be incomplete without giving kudos to our own and only political leader, the former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, who had been the link for the long existing relationship.
“However, our attention has been drawn to a rumour making the round that some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ethiope East have conceded the Federal House of Representative position to Ethiope West for reasons we don’t know.
“This rumour or information is not only unfounded, but also fallacious and not true, as there was no time the elders and leaders of Ethiope East held any meeting and took a position that it was the turn of Ethiope West to produce the next Federal House of Representative member.
