Ondo Police Parade 13 Suspected Armed Robbers

Ondo State Police command on Monday paraded thirteen suspected armed robbers terrorizing the people of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police Mr. Gbenga Adeyanju who paraded the suspects before newsmen at the Police headquarters in Akure, stressed that the Police would make the state robbery free.
While addressing journalists on behalf of CP, the spokesman for the command, Mr. Femi Joseph said on 6th October, 2017 at about 7am, the suspected armed robbers, Friday Peter, Frank Odiri were arrested at Ifon, in Ose Local Government Area of the state where they shot one Monday Odiri of Osaka Street Ijagba through his window.
The two suspects according to him, with one Monday Abiodun now at large conspired to rob the complainant and in the process shot him on the right and left wrists thereby causing him serious injuries.
Also, on 14 October, 2017 at about 4:30am, information was received by his men at Ore that armed robbers blocked the highway leading to Ondo town and were robbing passer-by, Police spokesman hinted that based on the report, policemen were dispatched to the scene where they arrested one Akintade Henry and Abiodun Tunde with one unregistered Bajaj motorcycle, two daggers, one cutlass and some charms recovered from them.
Joseph also disclosed that three days after, at about 7:30pm a distress call was received at SARS that another sect of armed robbery numbering about five snatched a motorcycle along the “Mother and Child Hospital” road, in Akure and following the information received, a team of operatives immediately went on the trail of the hoodlums and forced them to halt subsequently the following five suspects were arrested.
They are, Ayodele Abayomi, Ayoh Genesis, Oluwafemi Ayodeji, Kola Ogunbiyi and Seun Ayodele.
Joseph said one AK 47 riffle No 9181 was recovered from the hoodlums along with a red boxer motorcycle, saying that the hoodlums have confessed to series of car snatching in the command.
He however said all the suspects would soon be charged to court for prosecution.
