Osun Decides: Voters, Security Operatives, INEC Officials Arrive Oyetola’s Polling Unit
Electorate, security personnel and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived early at Ward 10, Unit 01, Oloti area of Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State, where the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, is expected to cast his vote.
As of 8:10 a.m., voters were seen checking their names on the voters’ register while electoral officials made preparations for the commencement of the voting exercise. Security personnel were also present at the polling unit to maintain order.
However, a voter, Yinusa Rafiu, raised concerns after discovering that his name was missing from the register. Rafiu told electoral officials that while the names of his brothers and sisters appeared at their usual location on the list, his own name was not found.
