2027: Osun West APC Leaders Endorse Ogunbiyi As Senatorial Candidate

-Hold Peace Meeting With Other Senatorial Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) The apex leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun West Senatorial district alongside other Senatorial aspirants have resolved to have Dr. Akinade Akanmu OGUNBIYI as the Party’s Flagbearer for the Senatorial district.

In a communique issue after a meeting signed by Hon.Omolaoye, O.Akintola, on behalf of the Osun West Senatorial District, and made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo said
post-Senate Aspirants screening’s meeting by the District was to ensure pre-and post Party’s Primaries: peace, unity and promotion of sportsmanship spirit among all ranks and file of their Party towards Osun State’s Governorship election of 15th day of August 2026.

“The APEX leaders of Osun West Senatorial District met on Thursday the 14th day of May, 2026 in the residence of our leader,Prof. O.O.Ladipo ,Iwo.

“The body met mainly to have a heart to heart meeting with our Sons who expressed interest to contest for and those who purchased the Party Forms to contest for the District’s Senate seat for 2027 National Assembly’s election.

“This post-Senate Aspirants screening’s meeting by this District was to ensure pre-and post Party’s Primaries: peace,unity and promotion of sportsmanship spirit among all ranks and file of our Party towards Osun State’s Governorship election of 15th day of August 2026.

“The meeting was segmented to accommodate intervening interests with EIGHT Aspirants in attendance at different stages excluding two apologies.

“We are glad to inform the public of the District’s resolve to have Dr. Akinade Akanmu OGUNBIYI as our Party’s Flagbearer for the Senate Seat in the 2027 National Assembly’s election with the unwavering support of all our sons: Prince Dotun Babayemi;Hon. Bade Falade; Dr. Peter Ogundeji; Rt. Hon Gafar Amere; Rtd General Bashir Adewinbi; Dr.Surajudeen A. Salawu; Rtd Bridg.Gen. Adeniran; Dri Mojeed Oluogun; and Hon.
