A presidential hopeful on the platform of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, has congratulated the leadership and members of the party nationwide following a recent court victory affirming the party’s position in an ongoing legal dispute.

In a statement, Fadojoe congratulated the National Chairman of the party, Prince Chinedu Obi (Ohamadike), the National Management Committee (NMC), the National Executive Committee (NEC), and members of the party across the country over what he described as a significant judicial affirmation of the party’s leadership and decisions.

The congratulatory message followed the ruling of the Federal High Court in Abuja, which declined jurisdiction over the contempt proceedings instituted by Edozie Njoku against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Fadojoe described the court’s decision as a triumph for justice, due process, and the rule of law, noting that the judgment further strengthens the legitimacy of the party’s leadership and internal processes.

“This judgment is not just a victory for the leadership of the party, but a victory for democracy, internal party discipline, and the collective will of all genuine members of the National Rescue Movement,” he said.

According to him, the ruling has once again reaffirmed the legitimacy of the leadership and decisions of the National Rescue Movement, particularly the outcome of the Emergency National Convention held on 14 April 2025, which he noted was duly monitored and recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Fadojoe also commended the leadership of the party under Prince Chinedu Obi (Ohamadike) for what he described as resilience, steadfastness, and commitment to safeguarding the integrity and unity of the party despite attempts by certain individuals to create confusion and destabilize its structure.

He further praised members of the National Management Committee (NMC) and the National Executive Committee (NEC) for their unwavering dedication and loyalty to the ideals of the National Rescue Movement, emphasizing that the court victory belongs to every committed member of the party across the country.

The presidential hopeful urged party members and supporters to remain united and focused on strengthening the NRM as a credible political platform dedicated to rescuing Nigeria and promoting good governance, national development, and people-oriented leadership.

“I call on all members and supporters of our great party to remain steadfast and committed to the ideals of the National Rescue Movement as we continue to build a stronger platform capable of advancing good governance and national development,” he stated.

Fadojoe also appealed to aggrieved parties within the political family to set aside their differences and embrace reconciliation in the interest of national progress.

“I appeal to all displeased parties to please bury the hatchet and allow us to come together for the liberation and rescue of this nation. We cannot afford destabilization in the midst of our collective mission to rescue our dear country,” he said.

He concluded by wishing the National Chairman, the leadership of the party, and members nationwide continued success as they steer the affairs of the National Rescue Movement toward greater achievements and increased national relevance.
