Pastor Arrested In Oyo Over Alleged Murder Of Church Member For Rituals
Peter Oluwalolese, a pastor based in Ibadan, Oyo State, has been arrested by the police in connection with the alleged murder of a female church member for a ritual intended to boost his congregation’s numbers.
Oluwalolese, who leads the church “God Has Done It” located in the Apata area of Ibadan, is accused of killing a woman, identified only as Adijat. The crime was reportedly committed as part of a ritual believed to attract more people to the church.
A video circulating on social media shows the pastor confessing to the crime, revealing that the ritual was intended to enhance church membership. In the disturbing footage, he admits to the killing and further claims that another body was provided to him after the murder.
Oluwalolese’s arrest has shocked the community, with many expressing disbelief at the pastor’s alleged involvement in such a heinous act.
The police are continuing their investigation into the incident, with further details expected to emerge in the coming days.
