#EdoDecides2024: INEC Uploads 74.68% Of Results On IREV

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 74.68 per cent of the election results from the Edo State governorship poll on its Result Viewing Portal (IREV).

Saturday Telegraph reports that INEC has uploaded 3,375 results out of 4,519 polling units across the state on the portal.

Below are some of the uploaded results;

Polling Unit 008, Ward 04, Esan West LGA
– APC: 77
– PDP: 59

Polling Unit 15, Ward 1, Ewohimi, Esan South-East LGA
– APC: 11
– ADC: 2
– PDP: 147
– Accredited Voters: 165
– Registered Voters: 230
– Valid Votes: 160

Polling Unit 11, Ward 1, Ewohimi, Esan South-East LGA
– APC: 38
– APGA: 1
– PDP: 201
– Accredited Voters: 241
– Registered Voters: 969

-Polling Unit 20, Open Space Osagiede Uzzi, Ward Ogbe, Oredo LGA
– APC: 38
– Labour Party: 2
– PDP: 105

University of Benin, Ekwhuan Campus, Polling Unit 60, Ward 01, Ogbe, Oredo LGA
– APC: 11
– PDP: 27
– Labour Party: 5

Polling Unit 59, Ward 01, Oredo LGA
– APC: 16
– PDP: 67
– Labour Party: 9

Polling Unit 62, Ward 01, Ogbe, Oredo LGA

In a surprising event, Olumide Akpata, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, lost his polling unit to the APC and PDP:
Polling Unit 11, Ward 06, Oredo LGA
– PDP: 41

– Labour Party: 32

However, Governor Godwin Obaseki recorded a win for his party, PDP at his polling unit:
Polling Unit 19, Ward 04, Oredo LGA
– PDP: 127
– APC: 35
– Labour Party: 11

-Polling Unit 007, Agbor Primary School, Esan South-East LGA
– APC: 132
– PDP: 78
– Labour Party: 0

As more results emerge, the political landscape in Edo State is becoming clearer.

INEC continues to update its portal, with the final tally expected in the coming days.
