Osun LG Poll: NNPP Opens New State Secretariat, Begins Tour To Unveil LG offices

In its preparation towards the forthcoming local government and gubernatorial elections, the Osun state chapter of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has opened a new secretariat for effective administration.

Disclosing this to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital on Friday, Acting Secretary of the party, Adegbaju Celestina, said the party needs a more conducive secretariat due to the large number of people willing to join the party in the state.

According to Adegbaju, the secretariat they were using before was too small and could not contain them again, hence, the reason to look for more spacious secretariat where members could stay comfortably.

He noted that the new secretariat, which is located inside King Square Building, Opposite Biket junction, Ikirun road in Osogbo shall be unveiled at a date to be announced soon.

In the same vein, the leadership of NNPP in the state have embarked on a tour to all the local governments in the state to unveil their offices.

This, Adegbaju said will bring the party closer to the people at the grassroot, thereby, easy for new members to register without stress of coming to the state capital.

The first council office to be unveiled is that of Obokun Local Government, located at Oke-Ese Street, beside Lapo Office, Ibokun.

He enjoined lovers of good governance in Osun state to join NNPP as it is the only hope for the masses.
