45-Year-Old Man Nabbed With Human Skull In Ogun
The operatives of the Ogun State Police have arrested a 45-year-old man named Lekan Akinyemi for possession of a human skull.
The Command Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Omolola Odutola confirmed the arrest on Tuesday in Abeokuta, saying the culprit was detained by the DPO Adatan division.
She explained that the suspect dug up the late Saubana Balogun’s tomb in Isale Itoko, Abeokuta, to detach his skull for ritual purposes.
Odutola also stated that the State Criminal Probe Department (SCID) will commence a probe into the incident.
“One Lekan Akinyemi “m” has been arrested by DPO Adatan for being in possession of a human skull.
“He dug the grave of late Saubana Balogun “m” at Isale Itoko Abeokuta, and detached the skull. SCID will investigate,” she said.
