Breaking: Inflation Sustains Continuous Rise At 33.95% In May
Nigeria inflation surge continued unabated in month of May 2024 , peaking at 33.95% from 33.69% in April 2024 as Nigerans grapple with the exceedingly high cost of food items and essential commodities National Bureau of Statistics’ Consumer Price Index (CPI) report released on Saturday showed.
The May 2024 headline inflation rate showed an increase of 0.26% points when compared to the April 2024 headline inflation rate, according to NBS.
