Selfishness Behind Nigeria’s Suffering – Cleric
The Pastor in charge of Jesus Is The Answer Prayer And Evangelical Ministry, JAPEM, Prophet Elijah Oyiloye has identified selfishness as a factor mitigating the county’s growth.
The Cleric stressed the Nigeria is blessed but inhabits a lot of people who are self centered.
Speaking in Osogbo, Oyiloye held that in it is selfish that prompt office holders to instead of recommending capabile hands, choose to recommend family members, close allies among others.
His words, ” for instance, a Government was able to moderate all this things and price of goods are coming down, and you refused to reduce your price, because you want to be make more profit than others then traders begin to emulate and increase there prices too which is very bad and ungodly.”
“Its selfishness that will make a leader bring his family in to replace /recommend him while there are people who met the requirements ”
The cleric also enjoined traders who hoard goods, with the goal of making excess profit during inflation but refuse to reduce price when there is decrease in price, adding that it is the act is ungodly.
He however, urged the public to do everything within there power get close to God, and to desist from all evil deeds.
