Taiwo Oluga: Elevation Of Basiru As APC Nat’l Secretary Recognition Of Outstanding Contributions

A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Taiwo Oluga has expressed assurance that the new leadership of the party would consolidate on the achievements of their predecessor and provide a clearer path towards the actualisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the president Bola Tinubu led APC government.

In a message to celebrate the appointment of Senator Ajibola Bashiru as the Secretary of the party, Hon Oluga noted that wealth of experience, loyalty and knowledge of the Chairman and Secretary would come to play as they steer the ship of the party.

Hon Oluga emphasized that Senator Bashiru’s appointment came as a recognition of his outstanding contributions and commitment to the party’s ideals, his impeccable track record of loyalty and unwavering dedication to public service, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and constituents alike while in the National Assembly.

She said the news of his elevation had met with widespread delight among party members and political observers, particularly in Osun State as they trooped out in the streets to celebrate it upon hearing the announcement of the ratification by the NEC.

Hon Oluga who highlighted his leadership qualities, intellectual prowess, and deep understanding of political dynamics as qualities that make him well-suited for the role of National Secretary noted that he had been “instrumental in driving various developmental initiatives and policy reforms, earning him a reputation as a dynamic and forward-thinking leader, saying his appointment is a strategic move to further consolidate the party’s vision for a progressive Nigeria.

The former legislator who represented the good people of Irewole/Ayedaade/ Isokan federal Constituency in the 9th Assembly said the appointment of Senator Ajibola Bashiru “signifies the party’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding excellence. It also showcases the leadership’s willingness to tap into the pool of talented individuals within the party to drive its vision for a prosperous Nigeria.”

She however charged the new APC national secretary to deploy more commitment to working diligently with the party’s leadership and members to promote unity, inclusivity, and effective governance.
