BREAKING: Tinubu Returns To Nigeria From Nairobi

Following the conclusion of the African Union (AU) Fifth Mid-Year Coordination Meeting (5thMYCM) which was held at the UN complex in Nairobi, Kenya, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Nairobi for Nigeria.

New Telegraph reports that President Tinubu is expected back in the country later on Monday, July 17 alongside his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and his media aide on communication and strategy, Dele Alake.
During the meeting, President Tinubu declared that past exploitation and plundering of the African continent will not be tolerated.
He made this remark while speaking at the 5thMYCM of the African Union (AU), the Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the Regional Mechanisms (RMs), and the African Union Member-States in Nairobi, Kenya.
In his speech entitled “Address on Status of Regional Integration in ECOWAS,” Tinubu called for good governance to ensure a prosperous future for Africa, free from the exploitations of the past.
The President outlined measures to bolster the coalition’s Standby Force against coup attempts and battle terrorism in the region in his capacity as the Chairperson of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government.
According to a statement issued by Dele Alake the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, the Nigerian leader reaffirmed Africa’s unity and strength while strongly rejecting the notion of a new scramble for Africa.
As a means for Africa to succeed in the future, he underlined the necessity for the continent to solve its current problems. He emphasized the significance of inclusive growth, strong governance, and making the most of the potential offered by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA
