Simi, Fave, Johnny Drille , Progress To Perform At Nigerian Idol Season 8 Grand Finale Today
Simi, Fave, Johnny Drille, and Progress, four of Nigeria’s top artists, have been scheduled to perform at the Nigerian Idol Season 8 grand finale.
After seven weeks of electrifying live performances and nonstop excitement, the season’s grand finale will take place tomorrow
Sunday, July 16, 2023. Precious Mac and Victory Gbakara are the last two contestants standing, and both have impressed during the course of the season, but only one of them can be crowned the winner. The online polls have closed, and by the end of Sunday night, the viewing public will find out who goes home with the grand prize, which adds up to ₦100 million.
Sunday’s live show will feature performances from some of Nigeria’s finest artistes, including Simi, Fave, Johnny Drille, and Progress. These stars have lit up the charts with several smash hits, and they will be expected to set the stage on fire as Nigerian Idol Season 8 wraps up in style.
Simi, who is a two-time judge and performer on Nigerian Idol, released her first single of the year, ‘Stranger’, on June 9, 2023. She’s had a stellar resume with songs like ‘Duduke’, ‘Joromi’ and ‘Love Don’t Care’ and albums like ‘Simisola’, ‘Omo Charlie Champagne’ and ‘To Be Honest’.
Fave is a breakout star and has already had a fantastic year, which she is topping with her performance on Nigerian Idol this Sunday. She’s dominated music charts worldwide with Davido’s ‘Kante’, in which she’s featured.
Johnny Drille is having a fantastic 2023 and the awesomeness will likely continue with his performance on the Nigerian Idol stage. This year, he’s captivated audiences with ‘Believe Me’ and ‘The Best Part’. Fans will definitely be expecting to hear both songs today.
Progress won the last season of Nigerian Idol after delivering at least 12 brilliant performances consecutively.
He’s been touted as one of the most talented Nigerian Idol winners of all time and has stayed relevant all year long with university tours and strategic collaborations. He recently released his singles, ‘Jo’ and ‘Lift Me Up’, which he’ll most likely perform at the grand finale.
The winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8 will walk away with ₦100 million worth of prizes which will include a ₦30 million cash prize and other gifts.
