Adekunle Gold, Simi Welcome Twins

Nigerian music couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi have welcomed a set of twins.

Adekunle Gold made the announced in a Snapchat story on Wednesday.

“Asked God for another child and he blessed me double,” he wrote.

While the singer did not reveal the gender of the newborns, the good news quickly generated congratulatory reactions from colleagues and fans.

Last month, Simi shared a clip on Instagram in which her baby bump was prominent.

She captioned it, “From my baby, for my babies.”

The couple got married in 2019 after years of dating and musical collaboration.

In May 2020, the union produced their first child, Adejare Kosoko also known as Deja.
