Enroute Rauf Team Mourns Osinowo, Says He Was A Dependable Pillar Of Support, Political Strength Of Their Mentor

A Group, specialised in propagating immediate past Governor of Osun, and current Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s developmental activities, Enroute Rauf Team has condoled with the family of late Senator Sikiru Adebayo Osinowo, Lagos East Senator who died Monday at 64.

The Enroute Rauf Team also commiserated with the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole over the demise of the late Senator.

In a condolence message signed by Comrade Rasheed Raji Ropo, on behalf of the the team described Osinowo as a dependable pillar of support and political strength to their mentor and teacher, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola whom he said was still in shock upon receiving the sudden death of Osinowo.

The first-term senator popularly known as ‘Pepper’ was described by Ropo as a kind hearted and generous politician, affirming that the senator’s commitment to meet the needs of his community as a four-time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

He further said that the pains of Senator Osinowo’s untimely departure will be felt by his distinguished colleagues and the National Assembly in general and all other political associates in Lagos State.

“I want to on behalf of other members of Enroute Rauf Team express our deep condolence to our principal, mentor and teacher, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over the death of Senator Sikiru Adebayo Osinowo.

“Pepperito as popularly called, as a matter of fact was a dependable pillar of support and political strength to our mentor and teacher, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

“Pepper left at a time when his political wizardry is needed most but who are we to question God?

“We also express sympathy to the family members of the deceased. We pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased and to God to give the family, and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in Lagos State and Nigeria at large the fortitude to bear this colossal loss.
