The operators speaking through it’s chairman Honourable Olawale Olayemi in Osogbo, denied the reports accredited to the association tagging it malicious and heart wrenching.

“The statement credited to us is not true just as the issues raised are fallacious. The trucks against insinuation are not fake. Though from the outset, the spare parts of the trucks are scarce but they are now readily available in Ibadan and if you look around now, the trucks are working across the cluster areas especially in Osogbo” Olayemi submitted.

Honourable Olayemi stated further that the operators are in good terms with the state government, while the association and the state government are at a very high stage to reach agreement where PSP operators who are being asked by the state government to pay operational fee for cluster areas will be paying token to the coffers of the govt.

The association also prayed the state government to subsidize the cost of trucks while also appealing to the government to write off the remaining debts on the operational trucks.

Honourable Olayemi submitted that “The state government is showing all in its power to resolve all the issues on ground and that will be done in the nearest future as we have faith in the government of Governor Rauf Aregbesola for us as operators to have ease in the discharge of our duties.
