2021 Osun NUJ Press Week: Inter-Chapel Indoor Games Hold Tomorrow
… As NUJ Tackles NMA In Novelty Football Match On Wednesday
Sporting activities marking the ongoing 2021 NUJ Press week will kick-off tomorrow, Tuesday with Inter-Chapel Indoor Games.
A statement by the chairman of the Sports Committee, Mr Timothy Agbor indicated that the indoor games will hold at the Osun NUJ Press Centre, beside Technical College, Osogbo by 4:00pm.
The indoor games’ competition will be hold between NUJ members whose chapels had registered with the Sports Committee.
Mr Agbor disclosed that the sponsors of the sporting activities including the state Commissioner of Finance, Hon Bola Oyebanji, Hon isiaka Akinloye and Hon AbdulHakeem Olaoye Otaoroju will declare the indoor games open.
On Wednesday, October 27, the Press Week sporting activities will climax with a football novelty match between leaders and members of Osun NUJ and leaders and members of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Osun State chapter.
The football match will hold at Osogbo Township Stadium by 4:00pm.
The statement enjoined members of the union to attend the events.
