BSB Congratulates Muslim Faithful On EID-UL-FITR Celebration
Hon. Bello Saliu Bamidele (BSB) extends warm and heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid is not merely a festival—it is the crowning glory of a sacred journey. For weeks, the faithful have embraced restraint over indulgence, devotion over distraction, and reflection over routine. From the quiet ساعات of Suhoor to the solemn stillness of Iftar, the month of Ramadan has refined the soul, strengthened the will, and rekindled a deeper consciousness of Allah.
This day, therefore, stands as a testimony—of obedience rewarded, of discipline refined, and of faith renewed.
As we mark this blessed occasion, it is my earnest prayer that the Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, accepts every act of worship, every supplication, every sacrifice, and every moment of sincere devotion offered throughout the holy month. May He forgive our shortcomings, purify our hearts, and grant us the grace to sustain the virtues cultivated during Ramadan.
The Holy Qur’an reminds us:
“And that you must complete the prescribed days and glorify Allah for having guided you, so that you may be grateful.”
— Qur’an 2:185
And in the rhythm of life’s trials and triumphs, we are reassured:
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”
— Qur’an 94:6
Eid-ul-Fitr calls us beyond celebration into responsibility. It is a moment to extend kindness to the less privileged, to strengthen the bonds of unity, and to reaffirm our commitment to peace, justice, and harmonious coexistence. The lessons of Ramadan—patience, humility, generosity, and compassion—must not fade with the crescent but should remain guiding lights in our daily lives.
At a time when our communities and nation seek stability and progress, the values of sacrifice and shared humanity that define this season must inspire us all to rise above division and work collectively toward a future anchored in peace and prosperity.
May this Eid usher in renewed hope, lasting joy, and divine favor in every home. May your celebrations be filled with peace, your hearts with gratitude, and your lives with continued guidance and blessings.
Eid Mubarak!
Signed,
Hon. Bello Saliu Bamidele (BSB)
