AGF Congratulates Oyetola On CON National Honour

...Lauds Buhari For Honouring Integrity, Excellence

A sociopolitical group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation ( AGF), Osun state chapter has congratulated former Governor of the State, Gboyega Oyetola, on his national honour bestowed on him by President Muhammadu Buhari.

However, the group commended the president for recognizing, Honouring and awarding Oyetola with the prestigious national honour as Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), for his tireless and selfless service to the nation.

In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the State Coordinator , Comrade Sikiru Tijani, and secretary, Comrade Yahaya Adeniji, on Sunday in Osogbo, the group expressed satisfaction with the selection of Oyetola for this year awards and thanked the president for giving honour to whom honour is due as this will motivate other Nigerians to put in their best when given an opportunity to serve.

“We, members of the Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) in Osun State are very happy about the National Honor, Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), conferred on the immediate past Governor of our state , Gboyega Oyetola by President Muhammadu Buhari. Sir, kindly accept our heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.

“Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola’s exemplary leadership and dedication to service have been an inspiration to many of us. For us, we have nothing more to say than to wish him well in his future national and international engagements because we are confident, a man of his political and social standing has no place in local politics except to advice and counsel as a statesman”.

In a profuse shower of encomium and heartfelt felicitations on the recipient, the AGF described Oyetola as a thoroughbred administrator who had contributed tremendously to the development of Osun state.

“As a group, we are proud of Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for demonstrating dedication, excellence, loyalty and integrity as a politician and a private citizen. The President’s decision to honor you is a testament to the exceptional work you have done in your position as governor.

“Your leadership has brought about positive change and made a real difference in the lives of the people you serve especially Youths. Under your administrator, 50 percentage of Youths were appointed in various political offices. We are proud of you Sir.

“Once again, congratulations on this well-deserved recognition. We wish you continued success in your next assignment.”
