Owa Obokun Of Ijesaland Pour encomiums On Asiwaju Fasuyi, As Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Visits Ilesa

The paramount ruler of Ijesaland and the Owa Obokun Adimula, HIM Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, CFR, LL.D has extolled the leadership virtues of the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi.

Oba Aromolaran described the Asiwaju as a visionary leader who is living up to his responsibilities as the Asiwaju of Ijesaland. He noted that the Asiwaju of Ijesaland is doing a lot in moving Ijesaland forward. He added that the Asiwaju is readily exceeding the expectations of his title.

The traditional ruler spoke highly of the Asiwaju on the visit of the APC Presidential Aspirant, the Jagaban Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to his palace on Thursday.

He noted that the Asiwaju of Ijesaland is a dynamic leader who is deploying human and material resources into taking Ijesaland to the next level.

He told his guests that the Ijesaland with the efforts of the Asiwaju is already turning into a paradise. He mentioned the N600m Ijesaland Geriatric Centre under construction which he noted will be the first of its kind in Nigeria. The monarch also pointed to the new palace which was spearheaded by Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi.

In his response, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu eulogised the fatherly role of the Owa Obokun. He also appreciated the efforts of sons and daughters of Ijesaland for supporting growth and development in the land.

He mentioned the fact that he has heard so many positive things about the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, and he was delighted to finally meet the man behind the name.

Dignitaries at the event include the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, his cabinet members, APC chieftains in the state and traditional rulers across Ijesaland.

Earlier in the day, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi conducted the Owa Obokun Adimula and his council of chiefs round the construction site of the N600m worth Ijesaland Geriatric Centre. The elated monarch could not hide his satisfaction at the level of work going on at the centre. He prayed heartily for the Asiwaju of Ijesaland and his team of eminent Ijesa sons and daughters.
