Community Leaders Praise Oyetola As Oriade South LCDA Embarks On Renovation Of Schools

In a bid to ensure that pupils in their local government study in a conducive environment, members of the caretaker committee in Oriade South Local Government Development Area (LCDA), of Osun State embarked on reconstruction and renovation of primary schools in their council area.
The caretaker members started with the renovation by roofing the Apostolic Primary School in Bolorunduro Community.
The school building which had been abandoned over the years later enjoyed the Glory of God as the council caretakers, despite the meager resources, rallied round to ensure they bring the long-abandoned structure back to life.
Located at Bolorunduro , ward 8, Oriade South LCDA, residents of the village who had earlier loose hope could not hid their joy for the renovation of the classroom which they said had been abandoned over the years.
They appreciated the council caretaker committee for their good gesture promising to continue to support Governor Gboyega Oyetola expressing happiness for the roofing of the school building.
Speaking, Chief Imam of the Community, Alhaji Ibraheem Oyesoro, reaffirmed their support for APC and Governor Gboyega Oyetola saying members of caretaker committee have toed the good path of their principal, in making education accessible for all the children in the state .
“We are very happy with this good gesture. We have been supporting APC, and Governor Gboyega Oyetola and we would continue to support him.
“We are happy the governor appointed those who will toe his path in his bid to make education accessible for all the children of both the reach and poor across the state.”
The Caretaker Chairman of the Council, Hon Oladeji Ajimati, said they were not comfortable with the dilapidated condition of some of the schools, hence their decision to intervene.
He said the gesture was to complement the effort of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in his bid to make dividend of democracy spreads across the nooks and crannies of the state.
“Our interest is the people; we want our children to study in a conducive environment, and we want our people to have easy access to health care services.
“They are the reason we are at the council to seek how to better their living.” he said
Echoing similar view, the secretary to the local government, Hon Tijani Sikiru, said they would continue to do their best to give the people good representation and touch their lives in their little way.
He disclosed that the project would focus on overhauling the physical infrastructure of the public secondary schools in the council, and enhance the capacity of teachers as well as inculcate leadership and personal development skills in the pupils.
He therefore, sought the support of the people of the local government for the second term bid of Governor Gboyega Oyetola saying Oyetola was ready to take the state to the promised land.
Present at the roofing is the party Chairman, Hon Ajewole Gbenga, former house of assembly member, Hon Aloba and other political dignitaries.
