Osun AGF Congratulates Alimi On New Appointment

A group within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), has felicitated with the former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the state, Barr Kolapo Alimi Over his appointment as Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

The group in statement jointly signed by its Coordinator, Comrade Tijani Sikiru and Secretary, Comrade Yahaya Adeniji and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Wednesday described Alimi’s appointment as an insertion of the right peg in the right hole.

AGF said the appoiappointment of Barr Alimi being a seasoned administrator and astute legal practitioner would bring the best out of the Speaker’s legislative duties.

“We members of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) in Osun state wish to felicitate with you on your new appointment as Senior Legislative Aide to Honourable speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.

“This is indeed a well-deserved appointment and it’s an insertion of the right peg in the right hole. Going by your wealth of knowledge and experience, we have conviction that you would perform tremendously well.

“We are very optimistic that this calm and gentle legal Practitioner being an experienced administrator, will use his wealth of experience to further consolidate on the pedigree of the parliament.

“Barr Kolapo Alimi is a loyal and a core progressive politician who has worked and served the state of Osun impressively as erstwhile Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under former Governor Rauf Aregbesola for eight years.

They however appreciated the speaker for giving the appointee opportunity to serve his country , just as they pray God to give him wisdom to discharge his duties beyond expectations
