BATSV Hails Prof Gambari’s Appointment As Buhari’s Chief Of Staff

Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATSV) has hailed the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as the new Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, describing the appointment as well deserved and a round peg in a round hole considering Professor Gambari’s pedigrees and track records as a versatile university lecturer, an astute administrator, diplomat of high international repute and pioneer chancellor of the Kwara State-owned University.

A statement issued by the BATSV Director, Media and Publicity, Dr. Babatunde Salami, on behalf of the Vanguard’s National Chairman, Dr.
Dare Owotomobi, while congratulating Professor Gambari on the appointment, expressed optimism that with the erudite scholar now on board of President Buhari’s administration, both the national and international images of Nigeria would be rebranded for optimal benefits of Nigeria and its people.

He said: “We at the BATSV are not surprised that Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari’s well deserved appointment was greeted with euphoria and deafening applauses nationally and internationally because of his invaluable contributions to the advancement of good governance, true democratic process and rule of law, not only in Nigeria but also the world at large.

“While we have no iota of doubt in our minds that Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari would succeed in the onerous task, we urge Nigerians as a whole to continue to rally round and give their unalloyed support to the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in order to move the country to the much desired next level.”

The BATSV National Chairman, however, applauded “the support and contributions of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the APC-led federal government and particularly for giving President Buhari a good helping hand on the emergence of the renowned and seasoned diplomat of international repute as the new Chief of Staff.”

Dr. Awotomobi, while pledging the support of the Vanguard to the aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urged the Asiwaju to continue with his good works in the national politics as well as humanity for the sake of posterity.

The Vanguard also congratulated the entire people of Kwara State on the worthy appointment.
