Let Your Legacy Outlives You, Says Ooni As Ife Business School Founder Gives Back To Almamater
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has charged well meaning Nigerians on the need to always contribute to human Development, saying they would only be remembered for their contributions to humanity not the clothes, shoes, houses or cars they acquired.
The Arole Oodua gave the charge during the commissioning and handing over of toilets built by Dr.(Prince) Ademakinwa Adereti, president and founder, IFE Business School, Ile-Ife at St. Gabriel’s Cherubim /Seraphim Primary School, Yemoo, Moore, Ile-Ife to mark his birthday Anniversary.

Represented by Her Majesty, Queen Shilekunola Naomi Moronke Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife said, “I’m impressed with the good gestures of the donor by remembering his alma-mata.
“This is well-thought because he sees a problems and proffered solution to it.”
Dr. Adereti can decide to throw a lavish birthday party, which nobody will question. But he decided to fenced the School round for effective security and built toilets which we are commissioning and handing over to the school management.
“I implore everyone of us to reminiscent where we are coming from, maybe we can give back to our roots.
“When the idea of the school was mooted by his father many years back. This spot was a cocoa plantation (economy crops), the Baba allowed the crops go for knowledge which Dr. Adereti is building on today.”
In his words, the scion of Adereti Adesiyan’s family, Primate Ebenezer Durojaye Adereti, Arch-Bishop of United Church of Cherubim & Seraphim said, “I’m the happiest man on planet earth today because I’m alive to witness this event.
“After my father got St. Michael’s Isale-Agbara for them, because of long distance due to non-availability of school; and so desired for his childrens to be educated, he let go of this expanse land of economy crops and St. Gabriel’s was birthed.
Primate Adereti appreciated Governor Gboyega Oyetola for being a listening Governor with his recent policy on education.
Speaking, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole, said, it takes a man with great heart to do what Dr. Ademakinwa Adereti had done.
Kolawole, the Permanent Secretary, Osun State Universal Basic Education ) SUBEB alluded that many would just ignore it and distanced themselves from it.
The PS who was represented by Mr. Josiah Fasoto, Director, Exams, SUBEB thanked the donor for his consideration over the school.

Gabriel’s C/S Primary School, Yemoo, Moore, posited that the toilets and the fencing was coming at the right time when Staff and Pupils are finding it extremely difficult to answer the call of nature.
The duo urged the dignitaries present to come to the School aid by renovating at least three classrooms to enable the school to accommodate more pupils and take good care of the present ones.
“Both appreciates the donor, the Lord Bishop and the entire C&S Church for their support both spiritually and physically for the school.”
However, they asked for more as Oliver Twist.
Dolapo Adereti, daughter of the donor who spoke on behalf of children said, “my father is a disciplinarian and and a very lovely personality.”
In her own words, Mrs. Shinaayomi Adereti, the better-half of the celebrant said, “my husband is wonderful, loving, caring and pleasant to be with.”
While speaking at the handing over ceremony, the donor, Dr. (Prince) Ademakinwa Adereti, DBA, FIBS, said, ” the essence of living is giving, life is all about impacting because life without it, is a waste.
“It is much easier to renovate than building a new structure because this school building is still very strong and urgent steps should be taken before it completely pull down from it’s dilapidating state.
“I’m not doing it for any pecuniary benefits as I’m not a politician.
He, however, said, “every birthday of his would have a significant project done in the school.
He appreciated Ooni of Ife by gracing the event through Olori.
Dr.( Prince) Makinwa Adereti was born to a royal family of Ife.
He is the president and founder of IFE Business School, Ile-Ife which was licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2008 with the approval of the Federal Ministry of Education and National Board for Technical Education with reference number : FME/ NBTE/ IEI/ 17/ 010 as a leading Innovation Enterprise Institution.
