Osun RAMP Coordinator Receives Award Of Excellence

It was an honour well deserved as the Coordinator of the Osun Rural
Access and Mobility Project (RAMP), Mr Sola Adewumi was honored by the
Governor of the state, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola for his remarkable
achievements in office.

The Award ceremony was part of activities marking the first
anniversary of the Oyetola-led administration which was held amidst
jubilation in Osogbo the state capital.

Mr. Adewumi, who was presented with the award of excellence in Rural
Infrastructural Development, is among other eminent citizens of the
state who were honored for their contributions to the development of
the state.

The Governor, who described the award as a call for more dedication to
the Osun project by the recipients, said the state needs people like
Mr Sola Adewumi who will show the commitment and zeal to see that the
state of Osun is counted among the best in the country.

The State helmsman then charged the recipients of the awards to see
the honour as a call to show more commitment in their various fields
of endeavors to further assist the State to move forward for the
benefit of all.

Speaking shortly after receiving the award, the RAMP Coordinator
described the honour and award given to him as a motivation and
challenge to do more for the development of the state.

While thanking the Governor for the honour, Mr Adewumi said RAMP will
continue to strive to ensure that farmlands and farmers are linked and
connected to markets in the urban areas by ensuring that more rural
roads are fixed in the state.
