Alabi hinted that this is the easier way to wealth creation for the youths than cutting corners.

“It is the resolve of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration to provide job opportunities for the teaming youths in Osun through Agriculture and vocational trainings, it is better to develop interest in agriculture and skills acquisition than looking for white collar job which are no more available”.

He announced to the participants at the retreat that the state government has directed each local council area to provide at least a thousand hectares of land for farming and to be made available to all the interested youths.

” Through this, you can become a successful and wealthy person as lands are being made available with agricultural inputs and to market the farm produce will never be a problem at all”, Mr Alabi advised.

The State Deputy Governor seized the opportunity to sensitize the people of the state particularly the women to enroll in Osun Health Insurance scheme introduced by the state government in the interest of their health care.

“I implore you all most especially our women to enroll in Osun Health Insurance Scheme and what you need to do is to register with just 12,600 naira in a year and this will take care of whatever challenges on health related matters”.

Mr Alabi however warned the youths against unwanted pregnancy that always leads to unintended marriage which is so rampant in the area.

He said taking this caution would assist in reducing poverty in the land for societal progress.
