Official: INEC Declares APC, Amobi Winner Of Iwo Federal Constituency

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared Mr Amobi Yunusa Akintola,the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate for Iwo/Ayedire Olaoluwa Federal constituency winner in the yeterday’s National Assembly election.

The returning officer, Prof Rufus Adesoji Adedoyin from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife declared Amobi winner having polled the highest votes.

Amobi according to Prof Adedoyin polled 29,229 votes againg the PDP candidate, Mr Mudasir Lukman who came second with a total vote of 21,608

Adiat Olaposi of ADP came third. He polled 17,624
